By the last decade of the 19th century, our Town had become a tourist resort for the wealthier classes who, drawn by its gorgeous temperate summers, visited us for the purpose of - taking the waters - in the Bay of Biscay.

Built in 1902 on a headland overlooking the Bay of the Abra, this beautiful palace is a fine example of the residential-style buildings of that era and one of the few that still remain in Santurtzi.
